Daffodil Field 2012

This is our 3rd year taking pictures at the daffodil field in Winterville. This year proved to have it's challenges, as the twins are so independent and don't really want to follow mommy's directions to hold hands, hug, or sit side by side. The photos are not what I envisioned when we set out to Winterville, but they're still beautiful because they're my babies in this precious toddler stage of life. Berkley is just as handsome as can be and I love Meredith's looks in many of these pictures; you can just see how free she feels being in this open field of flowers.

These are the best pictures of the two of them together that I could capture.

I wanted pictures of flowers, but I'll take pinecones if they make you smile.

Meredith looks like she's going to curtsy.

Berkley was the happiest when he could run round and round this tree. He was very happy that I gave him his Bob and hammer.

Meredith looks like she just finished a tap dance and is awaiting applause.

Candi, these are WONDERFUL! Berkley looks so handsome and serene, and Meredith is bright-eyed and beautiful. So glad y'all could go out there again this year.
