Easter Monday

In southern NC the Monday following Easter used to be considered a holiday, Easter Monday we called it. We were fortunate enough that Steven took the day off that Monday and we had some special family time. We went to Little Washington as we folks around here like to call it, and we let the kids roam the waterfront. It was magical to them! They were fascinated by the boats, water, and every little thing surrounding the water. Oh to have the enthusiasm and imaginations that my children have at nearly 3 years old. We happened upon a little park that we didn't know was out there and the twins really enjoyed it's pirate theme. It was a great day together!
