Kiawah Island 2010

Our family had the wonderful gift of sharing a vacation with my Uncle Phil and his family at Kiawah Island, South Carolina this week. As you can imagine, there are two sets of grandparents left at home who are really missing their grand babies, so I promised them I'd update my blog every night with pictures from our big vacation.

Well, this first picture is actually from home, but I couldn't resist posting it b/c they're so cute. Meredith and Berkley's favorite thing to do these days is getting inside any kind of box.

Meredith and Berkley will be 15 months old next week and they both now weigh at least 20lbs, so we decided to turn their car seats around for the long drive to Kiawah. A whole new world was opened up and they loved it!

We brought this little blowup kid pool to the beach with us and Meredith and Berkley really enjoyed their time in it today. I love this picture because of Berkley's look. I call it the old farmer look because it's looks like he's staring out at his fields thinking, "I've got a good looking crop this year."

And the favorite toy they've found here at the beach house is this cooler. Looks like Berkley's ready to hit the pier and do some fishing.

Here are Meredith and my cousin Jamie, who just turned 14 which I can't believe, having a cuddly moment.

Here's a cute video from the pool this afternoon.

Hope this satisfies Grandma, Granddaddy, Papa and Mima:) We love and miss you!
